We are purchasing the former Montgomery Ward department store at 35 S. 4th St., in downtown Zanesville, Ohio. This historic, 25,000 square foot building will be a perfect home for the School of Kingdom Writers.
God’s fingerprints have been all over this purchase. We’re excited to share the full story soon, but we have received favor from unexpected places to make this happen. This is a decision that has been prayerfully considered and our full board unanimously agrees that God has put the pieces together.
The location is perfect and the building can accommodate every piece of the vision the Lord has given us. Restoring this building will be a testimony to the local community. God is doing something big in Zanesville, Ohio!
We’ve put down a deposit (earnest money), and we have 90 days from today to deliver the full purchase price of $70,000 to the seller. We serve an infinite God who makes all things possible.
We’re asking the community of believers to help us purchase this building by making a donation to our building fund today. As a community, we need to raise $3 per square foot to purchase this building, if you can fund even one square foot, it will make a big difference.

The School of Kingdom Writers is a 501(c)3 educational organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
The building is structurally sound. It will need some repairs and to be developed according to our specifications. Our total budget for the purchase and first phase of development is approximately $600,000. That will take us to a fully operational facility for our full student capacity.
We are committed to remaining a debt-free organization, and this situation gives us the opportunity to develop the building as we raise cash funds over the next 18 months. We will have the right space available when our first full-time students arrive in September of 2021.
We have met with city officials and confirmed that this building can be used for our intended purposes.
