About the School of Kingdom Writers
The School of Kingdom Writers is a 2-year vocational program for writers who are gifted and called to use the American media for Jesus.
As a vocational program, students learn by doing. Our three-part curriculum connects students with the Holy Spirit, teaches them to write exceptional content, and develops them as professionals.
We accept up to twelve students per year to attend our program on-site in Zanesville, Ohio. This is an intensive, full-time program.
Our curriculum is broken into three sections: Spiritual Development, Creative Writing, and Professional Development. Learn more about our curriculum here.
Our History
The School of Kingdom Writers was founded in 2018 by Brad and Melissa Pauquette in response to a call from God. After a lengthy discernment process, the organization was officially founded on September 1, 2018.
Join our mailing list to stay in the loop with news, information, and prayer requests from the School of Kingdom Writers.
The launch and development of the School of Kingdom Writers is donor-funded. Once we’re up and running, we’ll be 100% self-sustaining. Learn more about helping us get things rolling.

Her joy is being available for her family and adventuring in the outdoors. She has recently discovered writing as a creative outlet. She encourages others to live beyond their fears and experience all God has for their life.
Our Statement of Faith
Our leaders and board members each have a unique spiritual background. Our statement of faith represents our “non-negotiables,” our common base of Christian faith. Any student or supporter who can affirm the following statements will feel at home in our organization.
We believe that faith in Jesus is the only path to salvation.
We believe in the Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as one.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, immutable and irrevocable, as true today as the day it was written.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is alive, well, and active in the modern age.
We believe that Christians are called to proclaim the good news of Jesus, to heal the sick, cast out demons, and to advance the Kingdom of God.
Beyond these core beliefs, as an organization we strive to be theologically inclusive. We will meet students where they are, with their unique backgrounds, experiences, and understandings, and encourage them to test and refine their specific theologies through application of the Bible, prayer, and experience.
