Our Campus in Downtown Zanesville, Ohio
Our campus is located in the heart of downtown Zanesville, Ohio. We presently occupy the second floor of 47 N. 4th St. Our campus includes workstations for all of our students, group instruction spaces, and administrative offices. We strive to provide a professional, creative space where our students can do their best work without distractions.

Zanesville is a city with a rich literary history including the birthplace of Zane Gray, one of the most successful authors of all time. Our small city is also an ideal location due to its proximity to many large metropolitan areas including Columbus, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Wheeling. The cost of living in Zanesville is very reasonable, and part-time work opportunities are abundant.
We do not provide on-campus student housing. However, we do help students find appropriate housing, including grouping students together who are looking for roommates. Learn more here.
Our Future Campus in Zanesville, Ohio
We are restoring a historic building to develop an 11,000-square-foot facility in Zanesville, Ohio for our future permanent campus.
On September 26, 2019, we made an agreement to purchase this building for $70,000 with 90 days to fund the purchase. God provided the full purchase amount in just 50 days!
This facility will provide work space for our students, conference rooms, an auditorium/chapel, and several public areas so that our students will have opportunities to minister to the local community, including a public café.
The building we’re developing has long been vacant, and restoring it will be a testimony that God is doing something big in Zanesville, Ohio!
Our students are now being trained in a building down the street. However, we will be well out of space in September of 2022 and we must complete this renovation by then.
We are raising approximately $600,000 in total funding to develop this building for our students! The American media will be transformed by the students who pass through this building.

A Place to Be Redeemed
This building is structurally sound and ready for development. However, it has sat empty or underused for decades. Restoring this building will be a testimony to the local community that God is doing something big.
A Place to Connect, a Place to Grow
God is bringing this mission to life, and this building will be the ideal home for this ministry. The School of Kingdom Writers will enrich the global community through the work that our students produce and will also be an asset to our local community in Zanesville, Ohio.
The facility will include workspace for our students, conference rooms, an auditorium/chapel, and a café that will be open to the public.
These renderings are quick initial drafts. They’ll evolve as we continue to work with our architect to finalize plans. The building is 25,000 square feet over five floors. Our initial plan will develop the first two floors, but we’ll have space available for future development as the Lord leads.
What comes next?
Our fundraising and building development has four primary phases:
Building Purchase - $70,000 - COMPLETE!
Building Development - $550,000 - We will develop and build the physical spaces for our students and community.
Furnishing - $50,000 - We will furnish the building so that it’s comfortable and usable.

August 1, 2020: Replaced roof completely.
November 20, 2020: Replaced subfloors on first two floors.
May 2021: Contracted APG Architects in Zanesville to develop the building.
