We’re excited to introduce Arche Year.
Arche is a Greek word meaning origin or beginning. In Greek philosophy, arche is the elemental stuff behind matter and power.
Arche Year is a scaled-down version of the full School of Kingdom Writers curriculum, presented online. The program requires a 10-hour per week commitment from students.
Students will draft and polish a novel manuscript over the course of the program, as well as establish an author’s marketing platform.
We will only accept 4 students to this program for 2020.
No credentials or experience are required. Students with unconventional backgrounds and education are encouraged to apply (as are students with conventional education). Christian writers of all ages, ethnicities, and denominations are encouraged to apply.
This program will have two live online meetings per week, for nine months. One will be a classroom environment, the other meeting will be for individualized coaching, encouragement, and peer support.
Following the nine-month instructional period, students will be given additional guidance and support over the remaining three months of the year while they seek publishing opportunities.
We think God is going to bring some people to this program who are ready to take care of business. We’re excited to see what comes from this inaugural program.
It is unlikely that we will continue the Arche Year program (or any other online programs) once our full-time curriculum commences in 2021, so interested writers who require online opportunities should apply to this year’s program. Once full-time programs begin at our campus in Zanesville, Ohio in the fall of 2021, 100% of our energy and focus will go to those on-site programs.
